ORWILLO AND CO SOLICITORS is looking for employees for positions:

Working hours

  • part-time

Responsibility

  • practice Manager - Legal Practice
  • supervision of admin staff
  • oversee and maintain roster for reception cover
  • oversee and ensure the timely posting of mail on a daily basis and the proper handling of incoming mail
  • oversee training budget of staff in consultation with Principal Solicitor
  • drafting of documents including pleadings, witness statements, letters etc and ensuring the delivery of typing, booking of meetings, liaising with courts, tribunals and third parties as required through admin staff
  • oversee and administration of internal financial accounting in consultation with Principal Solicitor and Book keeper
  • co ordination of the firm's volunteer/SQE programme of volunteer students including supervision of work students/volunteers, advertising, recruitment to role, feedback to third party suppliers, delivering feedback to students

Education

  • certificate of Higher Education

Requirements

  • previous experience in a legal practice role is preferred
  • strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • proficient in computer software programs, including practice management systems
  • knowledge of legal terminology
  • legal research: 1 year
  • legal management: 1 year
  • exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal- Strong leadership skills being clear in focus and direction while being fair and personable to others to inspire trust in colleagues and clients
