Responsibility
- deliver a comprehensive HR service to the Orthene business
- employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness
- producing monthly HR reports on key People metrics providing analysis, commentary and actions as appropriate
- measuring employee engagement and identifying areas that require improvement
- policy and procedures implementation of new HR policies, procedures and processes ensuring legal compliance
- working with senior managers, coaching them and advising on all people issues
- performance management: coaching managers on performance management issues and processes
- learning and development: providing guidance on development for managers and their teams, including working with external suppliers of learning and development
Requirements
- HR management
- examples of adding value as both an individual contributor and active team member
- strong written skills with proven ability to draft policies, procedures and reports
- experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals
- good coaching & mentoring skills
- ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the executive team
- personally resilient and mentally tough
- ability to represent the Human Resource function as part of the bigger business picture as a strategic advisor
