Responsibility

  • supporting a business user base of over 200 staff
  • respond to all support requests and queries including software or hardware issues via email, phone, or face to face
  • identifying the user issue and providing all relevant support or escalate to IT Manager
  • work closely with the IT Manager and team to ensure any recurring technical issues are addressed
  • continuously improve knowledge and understanding across the various software and hardware technologies supported by the team
  • work alongside IT suppliers to support a mixture of technologies
  • update and maintain the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately

Requirements

  • prior experience within a first or second-line technical product or service focused support role
