- maintaining the Preferred Suppliers list and conduct quality checks on all subcontractors
- creating and maintain information using spreadsheets
- answering phone calls, message taking & greeting visitors
- creating and maintaining Job and Tender files
- managing the maintenance schedules of company vehicles
- being the first point of contact for site personnel regarding requests for plant hire and procurement of materials
- implementing all administration activity strictly in line with our administrative policies and procedures

- effective communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels within the organisation
- extremely numerate with attention to detail
- logical, problem-solving approach to their work
- previous experience preparing accounts with Xero in a professional office environment
- working knowledge of CIS would be beneficial but not essential
- confident and assertive with a self-motivated approach and flexible ‘can do’ attitude
- ability to work as part of a small, close-knit team in a busy office and occasionally work to tight deadlines
- maintain the sales ledger and credit control
- oversee purchase ledger
- cash books, bank reconciliation and cash flow forecasting
- maintain general ledger, profit & loss and balance sheet
- prepare management accounts for Directors
- prepare journals, pre-payments and accruals
- prepare and maintain payroll including SSP, SMP, Pensions etc
- prepare books and documentation for year end and audit
- supporting the administration and projects teams with their day to day roles as needed
