Requirements
- excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- previous experience in a customer facing role
- A can-do attitude is essential in this role, to ensure our customers receive a high level of service
- accurate computer skills required to ensure the correct costs are set against the correct haulage contractor
- previous experience in a transport/haulage position is desired but not essential as training will be provided
- an excellent telephone manner is essential, having the ability to communicate clearly at all levels and keep a calm presence within the office and on the telephone when under pressure
- A good team member with the ability to work in a small onsite team, nationally with transport co-ordinators from other sites and the Business support services team
Responsibility
- carry out all other reasonable requests from line management
- train other office, Transport or dispatch desk staff
- update the Site Manager, Sales Support and Business Support Services on all transport related issues
