previous experience in a customer facing role
A can-do attitude is essential in this role, to ensure our customers receive a high level of service
accurate computer skills required to ensure the correct costs are set against the correct haulage contractor
previous experience in a transport/haulage position is desired but not essential as training will be provided
an excellent telephone manner is essential, having the ability to communicate clearly at all levels and keep a calm presence within the office and on the telephone when under pressure
A good team member with the ability to work in a small onsite team, nationally with transport co-ordinators from other sites and the Business support services team
Responsibility
carry out all other reasonable requests from line management
train other office, Transport or dispatch desk staff
update the Site Manager, Sales Support and Business Support Services on all transport related issues
