Requirements
delivery driver experience: 1 year
sales manager
Responsibility
to lead, manage and motivate the team, helping to set sales targets, developing and mentoring on an ongoing basis
to be accountable for managing the sales, margin and costs of the team
working closely with the Managing Director to develop and implement sales strategies and plans
support each team member to execute a well-planned approach to customer relationship management, improving market penetration
developing relationships and selling to tradesmen and suppliers nationally, with a strong focus on local businesses
actively generate leads and identify local marketing opportunities
build a relationship with the customer and be their point of contact
research companies, develop key contacts and establish strong product and market knowledge
Requirements
A strong desire to work in a commercial role, i.e. sales acumen, drive, enthusiasm
A desire and willingness to lead and manage people
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
