- collaborate with the buying team to assist in developing and executing a comprehensive product sourcing strategy
- scout for new and innovative products that align with our values and customer preferences
- build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and pricing

- analyse sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to optimise product assortment and inventory levels
- we do more for our customers, neighbourhoods, employees, suppliers, and the planet than simply buying and selling products
- assist stores in managing product replenishment, ensuring timely deliveries, and minimising out of stocks
Requirements
- genuine passion for food and a strong appreciation for organic, natural, and sustainable product offerings
- previous experience in retail buying, food procurement, or a related field is a plus
- excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- effective communication and negotiation skills to establish and maintain supplier relationships
- analytical mind set to interpret sales data, trends, and customer preferences
- creative flair and an eye for selecting products that resonate with our diverse customer base
- adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative retail environment
