Responsibility

  • reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and building plans
  • accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials
  • constructing building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames
  • inspecting and mending damaged framework or other structures
  • collaborating effectively with contractors and clients to fulfil their project objectives
  • ensuring your work meets the highest standards of quality and precision

Requirements

  • completion of a recognised carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent experience
  • proven track record as a carpenter
  • proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
  • ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • committed to following safety guidelines at all times
  • strong understanding of basic mathematics
  • excellent problem-solving abilities
