lead and advise on the company’s regulatory licensing and expansion strategy from Compliance standpoint
ownership of the company’s Regulatory Compliance and AFC Compliance strategy, frameworks, programmes and their implementation
decision making authority for all Compliance/AFC matters related to the company
manage and develop good working relationship with the company’s regulators, auditors and business partners
responsibility of receiving, assessing and deciding on suspicious activity reports and submitting SAR to relevant Financial Intelligence Units

Requirements
legal, Compliance/CAMS and/or Risk qualification - minimum of Masters degree or equivalent
currently acting as Head of/Chief of or Deputy/Lead of Compliance or Risk function
knowledge of various Compliance/AFC risk management and monitoring/screening systems and tools – e.g. Chainalysis, Elliptic, LexisNexis, WorldCheck, Notabene etc
professional experience in Fintech and/or Digital Assets industry
excellent track record in developing and maintain good working relationships with regulatory and industry bodies
extensive practical experience in acing as a strategic advisor to the Board/senior management for regulatory, Compliance and AFC matters
excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills, with the highest standards of ethics and professionalism
advanced practical knowledge and expertise of main international Regulatory and Anti-Financial Crimes Compliance frameworks, principles and standards
