Responsibility

  • establish, develop and implement company’s Compliance strategy, risk management framework and annual programme/plan
  • management of the relationships with regulators and law enforcement agencies
  • lead and advise on the company’s regulatory licensing and expansion strategy from Compliance standpoint
  • ownership of the company’s Regulatory Compliance and AFC Compliance strategy, frameworks, programmes and their implementation
  • decision making authority for all Compliance/AFC matters related to the company

Requirements

  • legal, Compliance/CAMS and/or Risk qualification - minimum of Masters degree or equivalent
  • currently acting as Head of/Chief of or Deputy/Lead of Compliance or Risk function
  • knowledge of various Compliance/AFC risk management and monitoring/screening systems and tools – e.g. Chainalysis, Elliptic, LexisNexis, WorldCheck, Notabene etc
  • professional experience in Fintech and/or Digital Assets industry
  • excellent track record in developing and maintain good working relationships with regulatory and industry bodies
  • extensive practical experience in acing as a strategic advisor to the Board/senior management for regulatory, Compliance and AFC matters
  • excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills, with the highest standards of ethics and professionalism
  • advanced practical knowledge and expertise of main international Regulatory and Anti-Financial Crimes Compliance frameworks, principles and standards
