Responsibility

  • preparing baked goods, pastries, cakes, croissants etc
  • decorating pastries and other desserts
  • preparing biscuits and savoury pastries
  • stocking checking and ordering ingredients
  • weighing and measuring ingredients
  • contributing ideas to the menu
  • keeping accurate records to maintain stock levels
  • carrying out and coordinating pastry kitchen operations efficiently and without supervision

Requirements

  • have worked within corporate catering and/or for events catering
  • have fine dining experience
  • have exceptional pastry skills
  • be passionate about food and ingredients as well as up to date with trends and concepts
  • be financially astute
  • have excellent communication skills
  • baking: 3 years
  • have an excellent eye for detail and presentation with flair and creativity
