Responsibility
- serving Customers that come into the Trade Counter – Invoicing for goods using DEAR software
- answering the phone and taking orders, checking stock and agreeing when the order can be fulfilled
- placing orders for more stock or to fulfil customer orders from suppliers
- accepting delivery of goods, unpacking, checking and storing in warehouse
- checking and responding appropriately to customer emails
- maintaining the stock on shelves in the retail area
- making deliveries of goods to clients across Norfolk when required
- use Stock Control software DEAR for invoicing, purchase orders etc
Requirements
- experience of working in a Plumbing and Heating related trade counter, providing good knowledge of plumbing and heating products
- previous experience of DEAR software
- knowledge of heat pumps & underfloor heating
- experience of stock inventory type software
- experience of preparing quotes for customers including specification and basic design
- ability to prioritise tasks appropriately and work unsupervised when required
- experience of dealing with supplier reps
- friendly approach to customer service whether in person or over the phone
