ORANGE CYBERDEFENSE UK is looking for employees for positions:

sales consultant

Responsibility

  • scope and draft technical solutions proposals and/or statements of work
  • present back the technical components of any proposal and be prepared to draft presentation material as required
  • build and maintain relationships with vendors and industry partners, networking and influencing the direction of key partner strategy
  • work with the Bid Management team to compose technical response to tender and other formal proposal documentation
  • demonstrate market awareness in our key customer accounts, make recommendations for the future and devise plans for adoption of new technologies and services in line with customer strategy
  • support the qualification and discovery process with our sales team and our customers in translating their requirements into workable solutions within our cyber security portfolio
  • accountable for the delivery of technical sales support and advice, share responsibility for closing technical or consultancy led sales in partnership with commercial account managers
  • work closely with a project and technical engineering teams to deliver customer solutions as designed and act as a customer advocate to ensure an effective transition from implementation to production

Requirements

  • RFP Bid Response skills with a track record of success
  • understanding of industry accepted cyber security frameworks and approaches such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK and Kill Chain Logic
  • technology vendor experience is required, ideally Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, Netskope, Fortinet, F5, Varonis and Checkpoint
  • experience of public cloud infrastructure design and migration in AWS, MS Azure and GCP is highly desirable
  • good infrastructure knowledge, including Active Directory, UNIX / Linux or VMWare, SAN and cloud, particularly emerging cloud security approaches and CASB
  • extensive experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering or Architecture role, architecting solutions which include technology, managed security services and consulting as part of any overall outcome related proposition
