Responsibility
- planning, scheduling and co-ordinating the project strategy and design
- quality checking and signing off works as it progresses, drywall partitions, ceilings, SFS and finishes
- ensure operatives are working and building to the latest drawings, details and specifications
- ensure compliance with legal requirements, health & safety and environmental policies and procedures
- keeping records and reporting to the Senior management team within the company
- ordering plant, equipment and materials ensuring the most cost-efficient supplier is used
- agree and manage the equipment, plant, staffing and sub-contract requirements for the site
- an understanding of programme demands and labour to suit
Requirements
- previous experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry
- have a good understanding of drywall, ceilings & SFS
- the ability to multi-task and handle multiple construction projects, meet tight deadlines
- A self-confident and self-disciplined individual, with excellent time management skills
- understand construction methods, interpret contracts and technical drawings
- strong analytical mind for cost management, procuring materials and disposal of construction waste
- an individual that encourages and supports people in the team, sharing knowledge
- good knowledge of specialised industry software for cost estimating and planning
