Responsibility

  • travel to train depots across the UK to perform installation, maintenance, and servicing of CNC wheel-lathes machines
  • to maintain all plant and equipment with the Work Rolls Business Unit, working within a team of four on 2 shifts
  • conduct hands-on troubleshooting, diagnostic assessments, and repairs to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • addressing equipment and facility breakdowns and taking corrective actions
  • ensure that all machine components, parts, and systems are functioning optimally, following manufacturer guidelines and industry standards
  • collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback on machine performance, reliability, and potential improvements
  • perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent unexpected machine failures and downtime
  • maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance logs, work orders, and technical documentation
