Responsibility
- as an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing the school’s IT infrastructure, equipment, and systems
- install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues reported by staff and students
- the role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting education through technology
- provide technical support and assistance to staff and students, both in person and remotely
- set up and maintain audiovisual equipment for classrooms and events
- manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- conduct regular maintenance and updates on computer systems and servers
Requirements
- relevant IT certifications or qualifications are preferred
- proven experience in IT support and troubleshooting in an educational or similar environment
- strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and network systems
- familiarity with educational software and learning management systems is advantageous
- excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
