● Authoring and updating strategic budget forecasts and financial planning
● Management of capital finance including repayable loans, grants and VAT liability
● Ensuring financial compliance across the organisation
the Finance Manager is responsible for the management of the company-wide finances across a range of projects as well as the core running of the company
they will work closely with the Director, as well as heads of departments and report as required to our funders
● Day to day accounting using Xero and associated software. This includes issuing purchase orders, processing invoices and receipts, updating Budget Manager, producing management accounts and cash flow forecasts
● Working with BOM’s external accountants to ensure cloud-based records are up to date, produce year end accounts, process payroll, submit tax returns
