Responsibility
end to end accounts receivable
end to end accounts payable
preparation of VAT returns and PAYE payments; schedules and payments
liaising with HMRC as and when required
proactive and available to colleagues to help them with any financial queries on clients and suppliers
liaise with clients on accounts payable
reconciliation of the bank accounts
reconciliation of company credit cards, expenses
Requirements
evidenced skills and experience of A/P and A/R accounting procedures
expert in using spreadsheets and confident in using software packages covering databases, documents and presentations
experience of implementing an account package or workflow management system
confident in using accounting software, preferably Xero
have a good understanding of VAT and PAYE
familiarity with dealing with HMRC on company tax matters
strong understanding of Data Protection and confidentiality
day to day use of digital messaging including email and whatsapp and preferably confidence in using other platforms such as slack, teams, zoom and trello
