Responsibility
- provide support and guidance to individuals and families in need
- assess the needs of clients and develop individualised plans to address those needs
- provide crisis intervention services
- support children, young people and families even they are angry, hostile and resistant to change
- conduct home visits to assess family dynamics and provide assistance as needed
- manage tensions between parents, carers and family members, in ways that show persistence, determination and professional confidence
- advocate for clients in court or other legal proceedings
- refer clients to appropriate community resources
Requirements
- social work
- registered with Social Work England
- experience preferred, but Social Workers who have completed ASYE are also encouraged to apply
- social work: 1 year
