- manage license agreements, ensuring compliance and timely renewals
- offer practical and emotional support to residents, including those with poor mental health and substance misuse challenges
- assist residents in securing private rental accommodation, guiding them through the process and offering support as needed
- collaborate with local agencies to ensure residents receive the support they need
- work with residents to set and achieve personal goals related to independent living and housing
Requirements
- experience working within supported housing or a related field, including license management and private rental support
- knowledge of rough sleeping, trauma, mental health, and substance misuse issues, with the ability to offer practical and emotional support
- A genuine desire to help people achieve independence and stability in their lives
- strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- A good understanding of housing-related legislation and support services available to clients
- experience working with individuals with complex needs is highly desirable
