Responsibility
- act as the escalation point for the Support Team, providing guidance and expertise in resolving complex issues
- utilise our ticketing system for both internal and external infrastructure support, ensuring efficient problem resolution
- maintain, configure, and enhance core infrastructure and network technologies, including patching, automation, firmware updates, backups, and more
- take ownership of core systems within the Uniserve Group, ensuring their optimal performance
- conduct regular visits to Uniserve branch sites across the UK to assess and enhance their infrastructure
- participate in an On-Call Rota, providing essential support to the business outside standard working hours
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Infrastructure Support role
- profound experience in desktop support within a Windows and Citrix environment
- knowledge of networking, including DNS and DHCP
- exceptional troubleshooting, fault-finding, and root cause analysis skills
- familiarity with Cisco Meraki, Citrix virtual apps and desktops, IGEL Thin Clients, 3CX VoIP systems, N-Central RMM, and Ubiquiti Wi-Fi technologies
- the ability to stay composed under pressure and make sound decisions
- cisco Networking experience, possibly holding a CCNA or similar certification
- citrix and Microsoft Certifications
