bakery on the Water and Bakery on the Hill are family-run Artisan Bakery & Cafés based in Bourton on the Water and Burford
we hand-make and bake fresh bread, pastries, cakes, quiches, and many more delicious products all day, with a passion for traditional and quality bakery produce
this Bourton role will involve preparing simple but fresh meals to order such as bacon baps, scrambled egg on toast, quiche, homemade soups and salads as well as preparing Fresh Cream Cakes and pastries
the role also includes daily ordering of fresh produce and preparing a weekly menu plan with some fresh ideas on quiche & sandwich flavours, soup and salad of the day options
the successful applicant will need to be reliable, friendly and customer-focused and enjoy working within a small team. The work is fast paced for much of the day so it’s essential that we work quickly but with good attention to detail
previous experience of working in a kitchen will be required however full training will be provided. Some experience in serving customers, making drinks etc will also be an advantage
this would be an ideal position for someone not wanting to work evenings or split shifts as the hours are only during the daytime working 3 weekdays and one weekend shift on a Sunday. [Saturdays will be a day off]
the average hours per week over 4 days will be 40 with a start time of 7.00am and finish times between 5.00pm - 6.00pm depending on the time of year
