dance teacher
Responsibility
- conduct engaging and structured dance sessions for varying skill levels of members
- develop choreography that caters to the specific needs of each performance and performers
- provide constructive feedback to members to enhance their technique and performance
- foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation
- organise and prepare performers for performances, or showcases as required
- collaborate with other teachers and production team members
- all post holders are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory "Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check"
Requirements
- experience as a Dance Teacher / instructor or in a similar role is preferred
- proficiency in musical theatre dance style
- strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
- A passion for teaching and helping others develop their dance skills
- ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual members needs
- certification in dance or related field is an advantage but not essential
- dance Teaching: 1 year
