warehouse team leader
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- ensure daily jobs are allocated
- organize and supervise inbound-picking-shipping activities
- follow and enforce the company’s Health and Safety and HR process standards
- ensure that inventory is kept secure and always organized including running agreed stock cycle counts
- assist and conduct end of year count against procedures
- responsible for management of inbound / outbound shipments making sure goods received match documentation
- responsible for managing and organizing carriers inbound and outbound deliveries
- support in Posting of all stock journals and transfers when required
Education
- A good standard of basic education – A levels as a minimum
Requirements
- experience working in a managerial position within a warehouse environment is preferred
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- experience of working with domestic and international third-party suppliers
- approachable, enthusiastic, likeable, team player
- experience of working within a cross functional team at managerial level
- able to prioritize workloads and manage teams
- working knowledge of international shipping and Incoterms
- highly motivated and able to work autonomously using initiative
