Responsibility
- including but not limited to the following tasks
- processing payroll
- use of the firm’s case management and accounts system to deal with all postings to client and office account
- to assist the Head of Accounts with month end / year end procedures
- communication with clients and fee earners regarding outstanding payments and payments received
- communication with the firm’s external accountant
- posting invoices
- to operate within the firm’s own policies plans and procedures
Requirements
- previous experience of Criminal Legal Aid and knowledge of criminal billing
- varied experience in financial and accounting teams
- working knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- proficiency with Microsoft 365
- the role requires someone who is both efficient and exceptionally well organised
- legal Cashiering: 3 years
- previous experience legal cashiering essential 3 years +
