  • coordinate parent communication and maintain positive relationships with families, addressing their concerns and providing updates on their child's progress
  • conduct regular assessments to track children's development and implement individualized learning plans as needed
  • ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to health, safety, and child protection
  • work along side nursery manager taking on job roles which may include any of the following fire safety, SENCo and Safeguarding

Requirements

  • minimum of 3 years of experience working in a childcare setting, with a focus on early years education
  • A relevant qualification of Level 3 or higher in Early Years
  • strong understanding of child development principles and knowledge of age-appropriate activities
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • first Aid and CPR certification
