Responsibility

  • review and challenge balance sheet reconciliations for operating units within ASCO UK and ensure consistency of presentation
  • perform working capital analysis to explain cash movements
  • prepare VAT 100 reporting for ASCO UK Limited
  • taking overall responsibility for the accounting for Corporate Overheads, including preparation of management accounts, budgets and forecasts for the support functions within the UK
  • prepare the statutory accounts, audit and tax files for ASCO UK Limited
  • provide variance reporting to heads of departments to understand spend against budget and forecast, and prepare ad hoc analysis as required to support with financial decision making
  • oversee the payroll function, including preparation of P11d and PSA returns as well as processing necessary journals and performing balance sheet reconciliations
  • assume responsibility for the reporting of balance sheet and cash flows for ASCO UK Limited, liaising with operational teams to ensure adherence to process
