Responsibility
- supervising warehouse staff and daily activities including deliveries
- health and safety considerations for all reports and ODL as a whole
- managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity
- tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
- checking orders, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
- maintaining records, reporting relevant information in a timely fashion, and preparing any necessary documentation
- ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining safety and statistical records
- performing a daily inspection of the warehouse area and equipment
Requirements
- previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position
- strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
- time management skills and the ability to delegate effectively
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- problem-solving skills
- knowledge of Oracle is desirable but not essential
- FLT Counter Balance Truck License required
