Responsibility
- ensure quality work, Timely Project delivery and high levels of safety
- improve/ maintain operational processes and efficiency
- help design and sell solutions to existing and new commercial customers
- report weekly to the MD with project progress, job/maintenance schedule performance and discuss future customer requirements
- participate in innovation discussions and selection of new products with reliable UK based suppliers and meet with their area sales reps
- establish and monitor job performance metrics with the service co-ordinator
- support the engineer team development, morale and provide training
- assist engineers, admin staff and customers with technical support
Requirements
- excellent communication, planning and customer service skills
- strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to develop and manage a team, preferably within a field manager role
- ability to help manage but also grow the company further
- ability to carry out COSHH assessments and toolbox talks on all projects being carried out
- management and monitoring of engineer’s documentation to ensure both accuracy and expediency, including job performance and overtime claims
- management: 3 years
- an ability to ensure all engineers are fully productive, cost efficient and maintain a professional image
- fire/Security Engineer: 8 years
