OASIS MANOR is looking for employees for positions:

  • provide daily support to two females
  • prepare and serve meals
  • assist with medication
  • assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • provide emotional support and a safe environment for the individual
  • deescalate situations when service users are going through trauma

Education

  • A-Level or equivalent

Requirements

  • previous experience working with individuals with autism and trauma IS A MUST
  • ability to handle verbal abuse and aggression in a calm and professional manner
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • patience, empathy, and a caring nature
  • this is a full time role, approximately 3 weeks on and 1 week off
  • ability to solve problems and deal with challenges and obstacles
  • the arrangement can be flexible for the right candidate for example 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off
  • genuine interest in caring for others
