Requirements
- previous Team leading / Supervisor experience
- basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, pro active and can do attitude
- attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- previous experience of working in a food environment , fresh produce -preferred
Responsibility
- nu Staff Recruitment on behalf of their cutting edge food client based in Lydney are looking for a Food production Team leader. This is a temporary vacancy that will become permanent after 3 months
- hours of Work: 7am -7pm
- days of work: This is a 3-2-2 shift pattern so will involve working some weekends
- pay: £11.50 - where the shift falls on a Saturday / Sunday the pay is £14.38
- monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- oversee production operations, setting machines and production runs and ensure smooth workflow
- ensure compliance with cleaning / sanitising and safety regulations and quality standards
- set production goals, run quality checks, and monitor progress towards meeting targets
