Responsibility
- administer medication and treatments as prescribed by doctors or healthcare professionals
- assist in the development and implementation of care plans for individual residents
- provide emotional and psychological support to residents and their families
- complete accurate and timely documentation of all care provided
- ensure that all care is provided in line with the care home's policies and procedures, as well as relevant legislation and regulations
- work collaboratively with other members of the care home team to ensure that all residents receive the highest possible standard of care
Requirements
- registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
- experience in working with elderly or vulnerable adults
- experience of working in a care home environment
- experience in administering medication and managing clinical care
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- experience in end-of-life care
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands
