- develop and maintain functional, reliable, and scalable PHP-based web applications
- collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- write and optimise SQL queries to work with large datasets and improve application performance
- participate in the full software development lifecycle
- maintain LAMP server configurations and perform basic server administration tasks such as applying security patches
- troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing code to improve performance and security
- stay up to date with emerging technologies and security best practices
Requirements
- ideally some commercial experience as a PHP Developer
- good understanding of object-oriented PHP
- familiarity with the full web development process
- proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries
- basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JQuery
- experience working with LAMP installations
- PHP: 2 years
- passionate about technology, with a strong desire to learn and grow
