Requirements
- SVQ/NVQ level 3 Plumbing
- ideally you will have previous experience working within a busy Plumbing/ Jobbing Plumbing role
- previous experience working within a busy commercial environment
- happy to complete a Disclosure Scotland
- hold an NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds in Plumbing
- have experience carrying out Plumbing repairs in tenanted properties
- have the ability to demonstrate a high level of customer focus especially within a Repairs and Maintenance service
- be able to work within a successful team and have good communication skills
Responsibility
- the role involves carrying out installation, service and repair on all mechanical / plumbing systems as required
- for example, installation / repair of taps/ toilets/ bathtubs/ sinks etc
- read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
- cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
- working safely and efficiently to ensure client requirements are met
- to take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary
- install and maintain water supply systems
- locate and repair issues with water supply lines
