- job Role Careers
- calibrate, test, Inspect, repair, fault diagnose instrumentation and electrical test equipment, tag all equipment and update service records
- check, diagnose faults and repair/maintain equipment to a high standard
- maintain an up to date knowledge of products and full range of accessories
- completion of all test certificates and associated paperwork & computer database record keeping
- keep workshop organised, clean and tidy and assisting with general workshop duties as and when required
- carry out any other reasonable tasks as deemed necessary by manager
- on-going management appraisal
Requirements
- experience in instrumentation &/or calibration would be beneficial, but not essential
- grasp of fundamental electrical parameters & techniques would be beneficial
- NVQ qualification is preferable but not essential – on job specialist training will be given
- ability to self-motivate and work as part of a small team and working to deadlines
- computer literate
- electrical Engineering: 2 years
- electrical Engineering: 1 year
