Responsibility

  • you must be able to respond efficiently in any given situation
  • norwich based Shortis Group have a full time vacancy for a Building Maintenance Person to cover the group sites across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and North Essex
  • as the Building Maintenance Person you will be required to maintain the group buildings to a standard by carrying out repairs in a clean and tidy manner and ensuring safety of the customers and occupants

Requirements

  • an understanding of general building maintenance
  • experience of brickwork and joinery
  • plumbing knowledge
  • basic electrics
  • painting and decorating
  • be reactive and proactive
  • A good all round knowledge of Health & Safety and DIY
  • able to work without supervision
