Responsibility
- management of teams and individuals
- manage and support staff in line with Vision Northumberland’s Policies and Procedures, including supervision, absence management, disciplinary and grievance issues
- coordinate effective team working through good communication and regular team meetings
- participate in the delivery of training as needed
- effectively identify and contribute to learning and development activities including meeting organisational targets
- provide leadership in the coaching and mentoring of staff
- alongside the Chief Executive, coordinate the recruitment, appointment, and induction of staff in the organisation through effective use of Vision Northumberland’s Recruitment Policy
- ensure regular team meetings are held
Requirements
- demonstrable track record of managing a multi-disciplinary, high performing team
- grant and fundraising experience - or willingness to learn
- ability to manage change
- ability to communicate effectively with integrity, tact, and diplomacy
- experience of a collaborative approach to working and building trust throughout the whole team
- strong track record of problem solving
- experience and understanding of health and social care is desirable
- travelling across Northumberland is a key part of this role, so a clean driving license is essential
