the post holder will work under the guidance of the teaching and senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision
experience working in a SEND school environment would be ideal although not a necessity
to be successful, you’ll have a proven track record of success in your own classroom
their role will be to supervise whole classes across all key stages during the short-term absence of teachers and respond to questions, generally assist students in undertaking set activities, keeping good order and students on task
the ability to relate well to children and adults; to fulfill all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency
as an excellent practitioner, you’ll have a natural flair for developing practices that empower and motivate students to become the best they can be
