Responsibility
- to supervise the training and mentoring of inexperienced staff regarding various laundry procedures that need to be followed while working
- maintain and update records related to inventory and laundry supplies and make requisition for any laundry supplies
- make sure that high quality cleanliness is maintained and that all the standard regulatory policies are being followed
- also to ensure that statutory health and safety regulations are being followed by the workers in the laundry areas
- to schedule and plan the daily work for the laundry personnel and delegate the work depending on the workload and priority requirements
- to regularly inspect the progress of the work and to make sure that quality is maintained and reallocate tasks according to changing priorities
- to maintain and update all the records related to their attendance, punctuality, leaves taken, etc., and conduct interviews in case there is requirement for additional staff personnel
Requirements
- possess a proven track record of supervisory and management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate the production team
- possess good organisation and training skills
- have the ability to maintain good relations with the clients by communicating effectively and building a rapport with them
- understand processes and be target oriented in order to achieve the companies business goals and objectives
- he/she should be skilled in maintaining and updating the records related to inventory and supplies
