Responsibility
- oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, and financial management
- ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards
- ensure compliance with HSE & COSHH
- oversee administrative tasks such as invoicing and supplies procurement
- liaise with accounts manager/bookkeeper
- coordinate with the veterinary team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality care
- implement and monitor business performance strategies to meet practice goals
- lead recruitment, training, and development of support staff
Requirements
- proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, ideally within a veterinary or healthcare setting
- strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- financial acumen with experience in budgeting and forecasting
- knowledge of veterinary software and administrative processes is an advantage
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and understanding of the veterinary industry
- flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of a mixed practice
- medical Practice Management: 3 years
