Responsibility

  • overall ownership of security of the IT infrastructure
  • developing and implementing the group cyber strategy
  • setting and communicating the cyber security standards across the group
  • monitoring the cyber reporting and identifying and fixing security gaps
  • training out cyber security good practice across the group
  • assisting development teams in all things security
  • providing client support onsite, remotely and via telephone
  • maintaining up to date technical knowledge

Responsibility

  • technical Escalation: Address and resolve technical issues escalated from the 1st Line support team, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users
  • desktop Support: Provide advanced support for desktop operating systems, software applications, and hardware, including PCs, laptops, and peripheral devices
  • troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity
  • software Management: Support the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software applications used across the organisation
  • on-call Duties: Participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support for critical desktop issues as required
  • incident Documentation: Accurately document all support activities, including issue resolution steps and user interactions, in the ticketing system
