Responsibility

  • review architectural drawings, extracting the information necessary to compile an estimate
  • liaise with clients to obtain additional information as required
  • service both new and existing clients, producing where possible `on-time’ estimates and key supporting information in line with their enquiry
  • utilise estimating software for the preparation of estimates
  • basic office admin duties
  • assess the clients’ requirements and advise accordingly with the aim of providing a compliant and cost-effective solution to their project needs
  • ensure all estimate information is readily available to assist other members of the department who may become involved with the enquiry or subsequent order
