hr advisor
Responsibility
- case work support with grade specific HR information, advice and support to achieve organisational aims and objectives
- consulting /negotiating with trades unions over such matters as restructuring, redeployment and redundancy processes
- providing advice and support on sickness absence including supporting Promoting Health at Work meetings and Managing Health Reviews
- interpreting and advising managers on conditions of service, employment procedures and employment law
- contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and work to ensure consistent application of due process
- contribute to the design and delivery of HR procedural training
- providing advice and support on discipline, grievance, capability and employee relations issues and supporting and attending investigations / hearings and employment tribunals as appropriate
