  • formulate and implement UK HSE polices/procedures across the UK organization
  • show presence on site across NKT’s various permanent and temporary UK locations
  • manage UK HSE personnel, allocating work and providing support and guidance as required
  • formalise and deliver a HSE audit plan across business lines and locations across the UK
  • undertake audits of current and potential subcontractors/suppliers
  • facilitate non-operational HSE initiatives across the UK region
  • perform gap analysis of existing UK HSE policies/procedures regarding what is in place and what is required to meet local legislative requirements and industry best practice
  • establish a standardized UK approach to HSE

Requirements

  • ideally be qualified Degree / diploma or equivalent in Health and Safety Management
  • hold a valid CSCS or CCNSG Card
  • A min of 10 years’ experience in Health and Safety Management
  • at least 5 years’ experience in managing a team
  • ISO 45001 Lead auditor
  • fully experienced and trained in accident incident investigation techniques including root cause analysis
  • have ongoing Continual Professional Development as a Health and Safety Manager
  • hold IOSH Membership
