Responsibility
- provide hair styling services to clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling hair
- have a good knowledge of hair care products and their uses
- upsell salon products and services to clients to enhance their experience
- be able to cut hair to a customer's specifications
- stay up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques
- know how to style hair with a variety of tools and products
- mentor and train junior stylists to help them develop their skills
- possess a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing and had at least 2 years salon experience
Requirements
- minimum NVQ level 2
- proven experience as a hair stylist, with a strong portfolio of previous work
- proficiency in a wide range of hair styling techniques and services
- knowledge of current trends in hair styling and beauty industry
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to work well in a team environment
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
