Responsibility

  • set up Company procedures and give drivers the required training in line with the Nippon Gases standards

  • take into account all safety aspects related to transport , for example, ADR regulations, driver's manual
  • required to liaise with the Fleet Manager to improve the fleet in line with HSE standards and best practice
  • an exciting opportunity exists for a Driver Trainer within UK Gases
  • responsible for the investigation and reporting of HSEQ events and incidents
  • conducting pre-start audits and inspections at proposed new sites
  • as a Driver Trainer you will report to the Head of HESQ and be responsible for the training of drivers who are employed by Nippon Gases or drive via external hauliers. Including HGV’s, company vehicles, forklift trucks
