Responsibility
- establish and maintain appropriate Quality Management Systems to meet accreditation requirements
- people, Planning, Delivery and Compliance
- work as a HACCP Team member
- all day-to-day and medium-term direction of the Engineering department and team
- shared control of the Engineering R&M and CapEx budgets
- escalation of issues to the relevant department and working cross functionally to resolve them
- ensure appropriate checking procedures of ingredient quality against specification on intake and through production/packing
- managing and monitoring supplier non-conformances, customer complaints and corrective actions
Requirements
- HNC in an Engineering subject
- experience working in food manufacturing
- lean experience and/or qualification
- analytical and welcomes challenge
- supportive and able to get the best from, and develop people
- able to demonstrate great communication and interaction skills both within engineering and cross functionally
