Responsibility
- nexus Resource Solutions are working in partnership with a well-established engineering company who’s been operating for over 70yrs
- many of the employees have been with the company for 40yrs plus
- the company offer some excellent benefits that are rarely seen in the engineering sector
- we currently require an experienced CNC Miller who can program using Heidenhain controls
- the successful candidate will be responsible for the refurbishment of components
- the ideal candidate will be used to doing some of their own planning work, used to working on their own initiative and likes being challenged
- the jobs are varied and change from week to week. This isn’t a production environment role, it would suit an engineer who likes to think on their feet and manage their own jobs and tooling
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- experienced in one off refurbishment machining advantageous
- programming experience with Heidenhain essential
- ability to work on your own initiative
- excellent problem solving skills
- used to working to tight tolerances
- previous experience machining medium to heavy components
- CNC Milling: 4 years
- heidenhain Programming: 2 years
