Responsibility
- further responsbilities will include
- ensuring compatability between mechanical, electronic and software design is acheived
- building and debugging prototypes
- supporting the test process and create test electronics when necessary
- electronic Design Engineer required for an expanding well-established company in Hastings who's mission is to innovate and be at the forefront of new technology to maintain long term leadership for their customers, developing new products and expanding into new markets
- the Electronic Design Engineer will be responsible for designing hardware and FPGA firmware to meet functional and performance specs, as well as producing PCB drawings and designs for use in PCB manufacturing and prodcution
- writing code for embedded firmware
- the ability to take a product through from initial concept to delivery to customer, planning and managing the project steps to completion
Requirements
- degree in an electrical / electronic engineering discipline
- FPGA firmware design
- circuit design using schemiatic & PCB layout software e.g Altium
- understand device data sheets
- 4+ years industrial experience in the above
