Responsibility
- price/Forecast the cost of the different materials needed for projects
- track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
- procure or agree on the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
- on-Site visits to measure and value works
- liaising with clients and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
- creating and managing applications for payment including Bills of Quantities
- negotiate contracts and work schedules
- procurement and sourcing of construction materials
Requirements
- newton & Frost Fencing Ltd is a family-run business with offices in Barnwell and Horam
- we are one of the largest fencing contractors in the United Kingdom
- support will always be readily available to you from the team, including from the Directors
- do you have experience with NEC 3 and NEC 4 Contracts?
- experience with VRS?
- office hours are 8am to 5pm, with lunch 12.30pm-13.30pm. Remote, hybrid, office-based and flexible working are all possible
- if so, we want to hear from you
- ideally, you will be within a two-hour commute of Dartford
