Responsibility
- we would be willing to put the right candidate through their elementary food hygiene certificate and give them full training
- you will work on a 2 week shift rotation
- friday, Saturday and Sunday on week 1 and then Monday, Friday and Sunday week 2

- it would be beneficial if you were able to help cover sickness and holidays as required
- they must be confident, physically fit, highly organised, good at time management and have high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen at all times, as they will be solely responsible for running the kitchen on their working day
- rate of pay is £10.60 - £10.90 an hour, with 5.6 weeks holiday a year. Full training will be provided
- newlands is a 22 bedded care home catering for a mixture of frail elderly and dementia, it is important that the cook feels confident at meal times with the residents, learns their likes and dislikes and has patience to communicate with them whilst helping to serve breakfast and tidy up after meals
- the post is for 30 hours a week, working three 10 hour shifts from 7:45 – 5:45
- to attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
